Parents-School Co-operation

The growth and development of the child takes place smoothly and effectively if there is close co-operation between the parents and the school. Firstly, parents have to ensure that all rules and regulations of the school are followed not only by their children but also by the parents themselves. For this parents/guardians are requested to make a note of the following:

  • 1.Read the contents of the school diary carefully and abide by the rules laid down by school authorities.

  • 2.Affix your ward's photograph and complete the information at the beginning of the diary. Parents are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address and telephone numbers.

  • 3.Check the uniform and punctuality of your ward everyday.

  • 4.Ensure that your ward carries text books/exercise books according to the time table for that day.

  • 5.Please check and sign your ward's school diary every day and see that the assigned home work is done properly and regulary.

  • 6.Regularly check teacher's remark in your ward's class work/home work exercise books.

  • 7.Do not let your children carry money to school except when required for a specific purpose.

  • 8.Check for a written note from the concerned teacher for confirmation about extra classes.

  • 9.If any time the parents or the guardian feel that the child is not making the desired progress they must contact the subject teacher/class teacher or the school Principal.

  • 10.Parents/guardians must make it a point to attend all the school function and parent teacher meetings. They are also requested to read the circular or any literature sent to them by the school.

  • 11. We seek your cooperation to inculcate the habit of conversing in English in your ward.

  • 12.Parents are required to sign their ward's progress report card, assignments and check their diary regularly or any other information when so required.

  • 13. Early departure is not permitted.

  • 14.Parents are requested not to send any electronic items like mobile, Pen drive CDs, expensive watches, Jewellary along with their wards.

  • 15.All parents are requested to impart health education to their children so that they

    a) Maintain personal hygiene like : Trimming of nails, regular hair cut, etc

    b) Ensure that they sleep 8 hours a day

    c) Ensure that they exercise daily

    d) Have a balanced diet : Bring proper meal with vegetable & fruit in tiffin.

    e) Bring cloth/paper napkins with their tiffin.

    f) Drink water which is either boiled or filtered. All students are advised to bring their own water bottles.

  • 16.Immunize all the children as per schedule given below :

    a.BCG

    b.DPT to be completed before entry to school

    c.Oral Polio

    d.Measles/MMT

    e.Tetanus Booster dose to be given between 7-16 years of age and also to be given if injured.

    f.Typhoid every 2/3 years (oral / injection)

    g.Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B

    h.Meningitis, Chicken Pox

  • 17.Get a dental and an opthalmic check up done once every year.

  • 18.Students suffering from infectious diseases like Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, Conjunctivitis, Dermatitis, Scabies etc. should not be sent to school until they are clear of the infection.

  • 19. Students suffering from chronic diseases like Asthma, Epilepsy, Rheumatic heart disease, etc. are advised to be under continuous Medical Supervision of a Specialist Doctor. History of their illness must be filled up along with the treatment being taken. They should inform the school doctor/Class Teacher as well.
